Ο ειδικός σύμβουλος του ΓΓ του ΟΗΕ, Αλεξάντερ Ντάουνερ σε συνέντευξή του στην εβδομαδιαία τουρκοκυπριακή εφημερίδα «CΥΡRUS ΟΒSΕRVΕR» είπε πως (οι ηγέτες) βρίσκονται σε ένα σημείο που πρέπει να πάρουν μια απόφαση: Είτε πρόκειται να καταλήξουν σε συμφωνία, είτε όχι.
«Όλοι λένε ότι το 100% των ανθρώπων είναι υπέρ μιας λύσης. Μπορείς να εκπαιδεύσεις έναν παπαγάλο να το λέει. Το ερώτημα είναι, εάν είσαι υπέρ της συμφωνίας με την άλλη πλευρά, με την οποία θα μπορούσες να ζήσεις με όλα όσα συνεπάγονται με αυτό», σημείωσε ο κ. Ντάουνερ.
Ο ειδικός σύμβουλος του ΓΓ του ΟΗΕ αναδεικνύει το θέμα της διακυβέρνησης και το περιουσιακό ως τα πιο σημαντικά κεφάλαια. Το θέμα της ασφάλειας το παρουσίασε περισσότερο ως πρόβλημα των Τουρκοκυπρίων.

Gazprom agrees to make Macedonia part of South Stream
The Gazprom press service told the ITAR-TASS news agency that the Russian energy holding has agreed to make Macedonia part of the South Stream gas-transporting system.
This will enable Macedonia to buy the fuel more cheaply, said the Macedonian President Gjorge Ivanov during his talks with his Russian counterpart Dmitry Medvedev in the framework of the ongoing Economic Forum in St. Petersburg on Friday.
South Stream is due to diversify Russia’s gas supplies to Europe, and it will be laid across the Baltic Seabed to Varna, Bulgaria, and then across Serbia, Hungary and Slovenia to Italy and Austria.
The gas pipeline is due to be commissioned in December 2015. Investment in the project is estimated to make up 25 billion Euros
